Daniel Jang
Physiotherapist
Dan was born in South Korea and came to Australia with his family when he was 3, he has since bounced back and forth between the two countries growing up in Sydney as a kid, working as a professional open style dancer back in South Korea and coming back to Brisbane to study at UQ to pursue a career in Physiotherapy.
Dan has a passion for dance, movement and gym and loves using different types of treatment modalities including gentle hands on joint treatment to dry needling. Dan likes a tailored hands on approach to treatment and has a focus on managing symptoms, regaining mobility and function and getting to the bottom of things for anyone who comes in to see him. He likes working with you as a team to achieve your goals, whether it be return to sport after an injury or feeling less tight around the shoulders.
Dan loves a good chat about life and is a big foodie. You might spot him around in Brisbane city at a gym or eating a good burger with his partner Megs. Dan likes dry needling himself on the weekends for post-gym recovery.
Through his experiences as a professional dancer and having sustained a lumbar disc herniation which was managed non-surgically a few years ago, Daniel knows what it feels like to be in pain and to not be able to workout or enjoy hobbies due to pain. He will make sure that you are heard and will do his best to get you feeling good and moving better.
